Along with a Chiefs Super Bowl victory, we’re celebrating another enGAGE Mobility grant recipient getting new wheels!!!
Meet Gannon from Republic, MO. He loves the Chiefs and he and his mom Kim are the latest family selected to receive support from enGAGE. They were issued a $5,000 grant to go towards the purchase of their #rampvan from United Access.
It’s been a long road for Gannon and Kim to get here. At 20 years old and over 120 pounds the need for accessible transportation is real. When Gannon lost his dad Randy to cancer late last year, the need became urgent. Randy’s last wish was for Gannon to get a van. A community of supporters came together to help make it happen. Multiple people familiar with Gannon’s story reached out to see if enGAGE could help. What a privilege it is to be able to say “yes!”
